Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Mad Gorilla ("the Service"), operated by Octapoint AB, org.nr 559539-6234, Gothenburg, Sweden ("Octapoint," "we," or "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. What Mad Gorilla is (and is not)
Mad Gorilla is an entertainment service where you interact with fictional AI characters designed to be intentionally provocative and annoying. The characters represent exaggerated workplace archetypes and are not real people.
Mad Gorilla is NOT:
- Therapy, counseling, or any form of mental health treatment
- Medical advice or a healthcare service
- A substitute for professional psychological support
- A crisis intervention service
No professional-patient, therapist-client, or counselor-client relationship is created through the use of this Service. The AI characters do not provide advice, diagnoses, or treatment recommendations. Any resemblance to real professional guidance is coincidental and should not be relied upon.

2. AI transparency disclosure
All characters in Mad Gorilla are powered by artificial intelligence (AI). When you use the Service, you are interacting with AI language models, not real people. This disclosure is made pursuant to EU AI Act (Regulation 2024/1689), Article 50.
AI responses are generated in real-time and may be unpredictable, inconsistent, or inaccurate. Characters may produce offensive, provocative, or absurd content — this is by design, as the Service is an entertainment product built around fictional confrontation.
3. Age requirement
You must be at least 18 years old to use Mad Gorilla. By creating an account, you confirm that you are 18 or older. Octapoint reserves the right to terminate accounts that we reasonably believe belong to minors under 18.
4. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately at [email protected].
You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, your personal data and chat history will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Mad Gorilla to:
- Attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or copy AI system prompts
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the Service
- Share content generated by the Service in a way that attributes fictional AI statements to real people
- Attempt to circumvent usage limits or security measures
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose
Content policy
While Mad Gorilla encourages heated arguments and colorful language, the following content is strictly prohibited:
- Racism, nazism, or white supremacy
- Hate speech targeting ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, or disability
- Sexual content or solicitation
- Genuine threats of violence against real people
- Self-harm or suicide encouragement
- Child exploitation content
- Instructions for illegal activities
Profanity, insults, sarcasm, and confrontational language directed at AI characters are encouraged — that's the point of the app.
6. Account suspension and termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms, including but not limited to:
- Repeated violations of our content policy
- Attempting to circumvent safety filters
- Using the service to generate harmful content
- Any activity that threatens the safety of our platform or users
Suspended accounts may appeal by contacting [email protected]. Terminated accounts forfeit any remaining fight credits. Refunds for unused credits on terminated accounts are at our sole discretion.
7. Content monitoring
We use automated systems to monitor content for safety violations. These systems may occasionally flag content incorrectly. If your message is incorrectly filtered, you can report the issue using the report button in the chat interface.
8. Credit packs and pricing
Mad Gorilla uses a credit-based system. Credits are purchased as one-time credit packs and are used to start argument sessions with AI characters. One credit equals one argument session (capped at 20 messages or 15 minutes, whichever comes first).
Pricing
All prices displayed on madgorilla.ai include Swedish VAT (moms, 25%) in accordance with Prisinformationslagen (2004:347). Credit packs are one-time purchases with no recurring billing, no auto-renewal, and no subscription commitment. Credits never expire and remain on your account until used.
Price changes
We may change credit pack prices at any time. Price changes apply only to future purchases and do not affect credits already purchased. The price displayed at the time of your purchase is the price you pay.
Refunds
Because credits are digital content delivered immediately upon purchase (see Section 9 below), refunds are generally not available. If you experience a technical error where credits were charged but not delivered, contact us at [email protected] and we will investigate and resolve the issue promptly.
9. Right of withdrawal (Ångerrätt)
Under Lag (2005:59) om distansavtal och avtal utanför affärslokaler (the Swedish Distance Contracts Act), consumers normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases.
Waiver for digital content
Credit packs are digital content not supplied on a tangible medium. In accordance with Distansavtalslagen 2 kap. 11§ punkt 11, the right of withdrawal does not apply when:
- The consumer has given explicit prior consent to the delivery of the digital content beginning immediately after purchase;
- The consumer has acknowledged that this consent means they lose their right of withdrawal; and
- The seller has confirmed receipt of this acknowledgment.
During the checkout process, you will be asked to expressly consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge the loss of your withdrawal right before completing your purchase. By providing this consent and completing the purchase, you waive your 14-day right of withdrawal for that credit pack.
This waiver applies only to purchased credit packs. Your right to delete your account and stop using the Service at any time is not affected.
What if I did not consent?
If the consent mechanism was not properly presented during checkout, the standard 14-day withdrawal right applies. To exercise withdrawal in such cases, contact us:

If you have used credits during the withdrawal period, we may deduct the value of consumed credits from your refund. Refunds will be processed within 14 days using the same payment method as the original transaction.

10. Content and intellectual property
All character designs, names, descriptions, system prompts, and the Mad Gorilla brand are owned by Octapoint AB. AI-generated responses are produced in real-time and are not pre-written content.
You retain ownership of the messages you send. By using the Service, you grant Octapoint a limited license to process your messages as needed to provide and improve the Service.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Swedish law:
- The Service is provided "as is." We make no warranties about the accuracy, reliability, or suitability of AI-generated content.
- We are not liable for any emotional distress, offense, or psychological impact resulting from interactions with AI characters. The characters are designed to be provocative — that is the core of the entertainment experience.
- Our total financial liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you have paid to us for credit packs in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for intent, gross negligence, or personal injury, in accordance with mandatory Swedish consumer protection law (Avtalslagen §36, Konsumentköplagen).
12. Dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by Swedish law. If you have a complaint, please contact us first at [email protected]. We aim to resolve disputes amicably.
If we cannot resolve your complaint, you may contact the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes:

ARN reviews consumer disputes free of charge. Octapoint AB participates in ARN proceedings when applicable. Disputes may also be brought before Swedish courts (Göteborg District Court).
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with changes, you may stop using the Service and delete your account.
